And Elohim blessed Noach and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the Aretz [earth], and have dominion over it.
And the dread and the fear of you shall be upon all the wild beasts of the Aretz, and upon all the flying creatures of the shamayim [heavens], and upon all things moving upon the Aretz, and upon all the fish of the sea; I have placed them under your power.
And every creeping thing which is alive shall be food for you; as the green herbs I have given you all things.
But flesh with its dam [blood], which is its life, you shall not eat.
For your own dam also will I require of all wild beasts, and I will require the life of Adam at the hand of his brother man.
He that sheds Adam's dam, for his dam shall his own be shed; for in the tzelem Elohim
[image of God]
I made Adam.
But you, be fruitful and multiply, and fill the Aretz, and multiply upon it.”
And Elohim spoke to Noach, and to his sons with him, saying:
“Behold I establish My berit [covenant] with you, and with your zera [seed/descendants] after you,
and with every living soul with you, of flying creatures and of cattle, and with all the wild beasts of the Aretz as many as are with you, of all that came out of the teivah [ark].
And I will establish My berit with you, and all flesh shall not die by the water of the mabul [flood], and there shall no more be a mabul of water to destroy all the Aretz.”
And YAHUAH Elohim said to Noach: “This is the ot [sign] of the berit which I make between Me and you, and every living soul which is with you for perpetual generations.
I set My keshet [bow/rainbow] in the cloud, and it shall be for an ot of the berit between Me and the Aretz.
And it shall be when I bring clouds over the Aretz, that My keshet shall appear in the cloud.
And I will remember My berit, which is between Me and you, and every living soul in all flesh; and the water shall no more become a mabul to destroy all flesh.
And My keshet [bow/rainbow] shall be in the cloud, and I will look upon it to remember the everlasting berit between Elohim and every living soul in all flesh, which is upon the Aretz.”
And Elohim said to Noach: “This is the ot of the berit, which I have established between Me and all flesh, which is upon the Aretz.”
Now the sons of Noach who came out of the teivah were Shem, Cham, and Yafet; and Cham was the father of Kena’an [Canaan].
These three are the sons of Noach, from these were men scattered over all the Aretz.
And Noach began to be a man of the adamah [husbandman / man of the ground], and he planted a vineyard.
And he drank of the wine, and was drunk, and was uncovered in his tent.
And Cham the father of Kena’an saw the nakedness of his father, and went out and told his two brothers without.
And Shem and Yafet took a beged [garment/robe], and laid it on their two shoulders, and walked backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were turned away, and they saw not the nakedness of their father.
And Noach recovered from his wine, and knew all that his younger son had done to him.
And he said: “Cursed be Kena’an the servant; a servant shall he be to his brothers.”
And he said: “Blessed be YAHUAH Elohim of Shem, and Kena’an shall be his servant.
May Elohim enlarge Yafet, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem, and let Kena’an be his servant.”
And Noach lived after the mabul 350 years.
And all the days of Noach were 950 years, and he died.
